CCSS Bus RFP
The Coffee County Board of Education will accept sealed bids until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2022 for a cargo/utility van, eight 84-passenger school buses, and flooring replacement at Coffee County Central Office. Cargo/utility van, school buses, and flooring bids must be three separate bids. Bids will be opened August 23, 2022 @ 2:00 p.m. Bids must be good through at least September 21, 2022. Cargo van specifications are as follows: Must be a 2020 or newer model with less than 35,000 miles, minimum of 3⁄4 ton chassis with a minimum of a V8 gas or diesel engine, with a utility bed or cargo box setup, automatic transmission, backup camera, and trailer hitch and wiring.
Specification and bid documents for eight 84-passenger school buses can be obtained by contacting Kelvin Shores @ 931-723-5150 or shoresk@k12coffee.net.
All bids must be returned in sealed envelope by the appointed time and date to the Coffee County Board
of Education, at 1343 McArthur Street Manchester, TN 37355. No faxed or emailed bids will be
accepted. The Board reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and award bid to other than low
bidder. It is the policy of Coffee County, Tennessee to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights
Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21. No person shall be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits
of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance
