INVITATION TO BID COFFEE COUNTY CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL PAVING, STRIPING, STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT & DEERFIELD ELEMENTARY
PAVING/REPAIR PROJECT COFFEE COUNTY SCHOOLS Manchester, TN

 Sealed bids for the COFFEE COUNTY CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL PAVING, STRIPING, STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT and DEERFIELD ELEMENTARY PAVING REPAIR PROJECT will be accepted by the Coffee County Board of Education, at 1343 McArthur Street, Manchester, Tennessee 37355 until 2:00 P.M. CST, on Thursday, October 31, 2024. These are two separate bids and bid documents are located in the one bid packet. This is a storm drainage installation, paving and striping project of the drive and parking behind Coffee County Central High School and pavement spot repair at Deerfield Elementary. The projects can be completed while school is in session, but work will have to be coordinated with the schools. Bid form must be used for submitting a bid for the two different projects. On the outside of the sealed envelope the following information must be included: Project name (COFFEE COUNTY CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL PAVING, STRIPING, STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT and DEERFIELD ELEMENTARY PAVING/REPAIR PROJECT), Name of Bidder, Bidder’s address, Bidder’s phone number, Bidder’s TN License Number, Bidder’s License Classification, & Bidder’s License Expiration Date. All licenses, permits, fees, and liability associated with paving and drainage project will be the responsibility of the bidder. All bids must be returned in a sealed envelope by the appointed time and date to the Coffee County Board of Education, at 1343 McArthur Street, Manchester, Tennessee 37355. No faxed or e-mailed bids will be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids and award bid to other than low bidder. 

All bidders shall adhere to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act enacted in 1964 which states that “No person in the United States shall, on grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance”, state of Tennessee funding, and/or Coffee County funding. It is the policy of Coffee County, Tennessee to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21. No person shall be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance on the grounds of race, color, sex, disability, age, or national origin.
